Triage incoming patients
Monitor critical and fractious patients
Administer treatments and medications
Assist with diagnostic tests and emergency procedures
Ensure patient comfort and wellbeing

Compensation *
RVT: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
SVA: $25.00 – $36.00 per hour
Hiring *
$8,000 for Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) and $6,000 for Veterinary Assistants (SVA) for overnight roles (Full-time, new to SAGE hires)
$7,000 for RVTs and $5,000 for SVAs for swing shift roles
$6,000 for RVTs and $4,000 for SVAs for day shift roles
Shift ** $3/hour for swing shifts, $5/hour for overnight shifts
Work **
Various shifts
** days, swings, and overnights
Full-Time positions, 4/10 schedule
$5 shift differential for overnight shifts
Basic Required **
High school diploma
3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, estimates, and other position-related tasks
Maintain California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) within 60 days of hire or transfer (waived if a valid CA-RVT license is held)
CA-RVT license preferred but not required
