We’re hiring a Veterinary Technician for our growing animal hospital.
Salary
: $18.50 – $25 / hour

How You’llMake a Difference:
Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, while under their direct supervision.
Provide high-quality careto all the pets in the hospital’s care and demonstrate excellent customer service to clients.
Deliver WOW customer service to clients and their pets.
Assist in surgery care relative to pre-anesthetic protocol, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
Provide written and verbalcommunicationto clients regarding their pet’s care, including answering questions and educating them on treatments.
Manage medical records through practice management software.
Dispense medication, perform x-rays, perform blood draws, place catheters, obtain samples, provide treatments, run diagnostic equipment, administer vaccines, and provide animal restraint when necessary.
Set-up, breakdown, cleaning, and maintaining of medical equipment.
Assist with cleaning all areas of the hospital.
How You’ll Succeed:
Comfortable interacting with furry, fuzzy, feathered, and scaly friends with calm andcompassion.
Strong interpersonal and oralcommunication skills.
Able to lift at least 40 pounds.
Certified veterinary technician (preferred).
Associate degree in veterinary assisting (preferred).
