Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in Scottsdale is adding a part-time experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate
Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED
Previous surgical preparation and assistance experience is a PLUS
Passion for learning & caring for animals
Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team
Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required)
Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Triage of patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets
Administration of enteral and parenteral medications
Effective communication with team members and clients
An understanding of vaccines and preventative protocols
Most importantly: loving what you do
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO FILL A PART TIME HOURS (UNDER 30 HOURS) WITH A POTENTIAL FOR FULL TIME HOURS IN THE FUTURE
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
