Full Job Description
Country Companions Veterinary Services is a busy 4 doctor mixed animal practice in Bethany, CT. We are looking for a cross trained Technician/ Reception unicorn to add to our incredible team! We need someone who can work as a client service representative to handle the day-to-day hustle and bustle of the front desk in a veterinary clinic; as well as a veterinary technician to work in rooms and see appointments with our team of doctors. The distribution of CSR/Vet Tech shifts will vary, depending on the needs of the clinic each week. For this position, 2 years of veterinary experience is required. Applicant must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment, have proficient computer skills (Avimark skills are a plus) and have excellent client communication skills. Applicants will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of appointments, taking messages for doctors and technicians, and juggling a multi-phone line system. Technical skills required for this position include but are not limited to; physical restraint, ability to lift 50 lbs, radiology, in-house treatments, using in-house laboratory machines, and must have a willingness to learn how to restrain large animals.
