Blue Cross Animal Clinic is a progressive, fast-paced, and diverse veterinary practice located in the heart of Albuquerque in the UNM area. We have a fantastic team, wonderful clients, and a shared commitment to providing excellent, compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.
We are growing, and we are looking for motivated, kind, experienced Veterinary Technicians who want to be part of a team that values both high-quality medicine and the people who make it possible.
A Modern Hospital with a Great Team
In July 2023, we moved into our brand-new, state-of-the-art 9,000-square-foot hospital designed with both patients and staff in mind.
Our hospital includes:
- 12 exam rooms
- 2 fully equipped surgery suites
- Dedicated dental area
- Modern equipment and technology
- A collaborative environment where technicians are an important part of patient care
We are serious about practicing good medicine, but we also know that a great veterinary hospital is about more than equipment and exam rooms. It’s about the people.

Blue Cross Animal Clinic is locally owned by a single owner who is invested in our team, our hospital, and the Albuquerque community.
We believe taking care of our staff is essential to taking care of our patients. Staff well-being and work/life balance are genuine priorities.

Your Schedule Matters
One of the things our technicians appreciate most is our predictable schedule:
- 4-day workweek
- 7:20 AM–5:30 PM
- Every weekend off
- Last appointments begin at 4:30 PM
- Technician team is typically finished by 5:30 PM
