What You’ll Do:
- Take patient histories and educate clients
- Triage walk-ins and assess emergent cases
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Run in-house diagnostics (Idexx lab equipment & digital radiology)
- Administer treatments (IV, SQ, IM)
- Monitor anesthesia and sedation
- Provide ongoing hospitalized patient care
- Use and promote low-stress handling techniques when restraining patients and performing treatments.
About the Role:
We’re hiring for another full-time Veterinary Technician/ Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Shifts are typically 9–10 hours, and availability on rotating weekends is expected. Our clinic is open 10 AM–7 PM, 7 days a week, but please note: 7 PM is our last check-in time, not our closing time. Some evenings may run later, and flexibility is a must.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
- Licensure preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic and adaptability
- Open availability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
