**Job Summary**
Our small animal surgical practice is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team. An ideal candidate would be a responsible and reliable individual with some experience working in the veterinary field. Wage is based on experience.
Job Duties:
Patient restraint for examinations
Taking vitals
Assisting with pre- and post-operative patient care
Anesthetic monitoring
Medical record keeping
Qualifications
Veterinary experience, including knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and animal catheterization
Experience with pet care and animal anatomy
Preferred skills include kennel experience and veterinary critical care
Additional relevant skills: X-Ray knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $27.00 per hour
