We’re seeking a positive, reliable, and compassionate Veterinary Technician or Assistant to support our small but busy general practice. This full-time role offers 35–40 hours per week, with a 3.5-day workweek and no weekend shifts—because work/life balance isn’t just a buzzword here.

What You’ll Do
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
Take vital signs, administer medications, and prep patients for surgery
Safely and compassionately restrain animals
Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, surgical areas, and kennels
Collect lab samples and assist in diagnostic testing
Educate pet owners on care, nutrition, medications, and home care
Monitor animals and promptly report any changes in condition
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of veterinary or animal care experience (required)
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
Experience with radiology or lab work (a plus, but not required)
Excellent communication skills with both clients and coworkers
Confidence in handling cats and dogs with care and empathy
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
CVT/LVT certification (preferred, but not required)
Schedule
3.5-day workweek
10-hour shifts
Monday to Friday only — no overnights or weekends
