Job OverviewPosition: Veterinary Technician or AssistantWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our veterinarians and fellow team members to deliver exceptional, high-quality care to our animal patients.Preferred Qualifications:High-Quality, High-Volume (HQHV) spay/neuter or wellness experienceExperience with Fear Free handling techniques is a plusKey Responsibilities:Prepare animals and equipment for surgeryMonitor anesthesia and assist during surgical proceduresProvide post-operative care and recovery monitoringAdminister medications orally and via injectionGather samples and run laboratory testsAssist in exam rooms: take patient history, record weight & temperature, and support examsAccurately document and update patient medical records to support quality careMaintain cleanliness of exam rooms, patient kennels, and treatment areasSafely restrain and lift cats and dogs of all sizes, with or without assistanceEducate clients and provide outstanding customer serviceWe value team players who are passionate about animal care and committed to continuous learning.
