Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality veterinary services.
Duties:
– Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
– Perform laboratory tests such as skin scrapes, cytology, and lab work.
– Administer medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision
– Handle animals with care and compassion during treatment and recovery
– Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
– Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment protocols
Qualifications:
– Proficiency in animal handling, including dog and cat handling
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and catheterization techniques
– Strong communication skills with both pet owners and veterinary staff
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
