Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients.
Duties:
Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations
Prepare animals for surgery, including pre-operative care and post-operative monitoring
Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
Assist with the care of hospitalized animals
Assist with inventory procedures, including unpacking and stocking hospital supplies
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience as veterinary technician, assistant, or similar role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

Pay: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour
