Veterinary Technician – Full-Time
Department: Veterinary Support Staff
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced and collaborative veterinary team. This role requires a passionate individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care to animals and outstanding service to clients.
Areas of Responsibility May Include:
Procedural Support: Assist veterinarians with diagnostic and treatment procedures
Patient Discharge: Educate and review discharge instructions with clients
Medical Record Management: Accurately document patient history and treatments
Exam Room Support: Prepare and assist during exams
Nursing Care: Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and provide TLC
Patient Treatment: Assist in creating and implementing treatment plans
General Technical Duties: Venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection
Emergency Care: Triage and respond in urgent and emergency cases
Laboratory Duties: In-house lab testing and sample preparation
Surgical Assistance: Prep, monitor, and recover surgical patients
Surgical Cleaning: Sterilize instruments and maintain surgical suite cleanliness
Dental Support: Dental cleanings, radiographs, and charting
Anesthetic Monitoring: Pre-, intra-, and post-op monitoring of patients under anesthesia
Radiology/Ultrasound: Assist in positioning and equipment operation
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain medical and pharmaceutical inventory

Pay: $40,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
