Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and the ability to provide high-quality support in a veterinary setting. As a Veterinary Technician, you will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals, ensuring their well-being while providing exceptional care to both pets and their owners.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.

Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.

Monitor animal health and behavior, recording vital signs and medical histories.

Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.

Provide nursing care to animals recovering from surgery or illness.

Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training techniques.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas.

Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during visits.

Experience

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is required.

Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.

Familiarity with laboratory procedures and animal handling techniques is beneficial.

Experience in dog training or pet grooming is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
