Full Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is committed to patient care and client communication.
Responsibilities:
Triage incoming emergency patients and communicate effectively with clients and the veterinary team
Assist in stabilization procedures including catheter placement, oxygen therapy, CPR, and wound care
Monitor and manage critical patients, including administration of medications and fluid therapy
Operate and maintain medical equipment (e.g., oxygen cages, infusion pumps, monitors)
Perform laboratory procedures such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and cytology
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs
Support veterinarians during diagnostics and treatments
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of emergency experience
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
Compassionate and professional demeanor with clients and team members
