Full Job Description
Family Pet Veterinary Center and Animal Dentistry Referral Services (located inside FPVC’s Norwalk office) are seeking full-time, highly motivated Registered Veterinary Technicians or experienced Veterinary Assistants to work between our West Des Moines and Norwalk locations. Our clinics offer unique learning opportunities through our Advanced Dentistry, 3D Imaging and Acupuncture Services.
Candidates must be coachable, enthusiastic, detail oriented, able to multitask, and capable of lifting 50lbs. Experience with drawing blood, placing catheters, surgery protocols, and knowledge of basic technician responsibilities is required as well as a passion for helping people and their animals. Saturday hours and some weekday evening availability until 7pm is also required.
We have flexible schedules to allow you to finish your degree for current students. We have an apprenticeship program to support you in obtaining your RVT if applicable.

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week
