Veterinary Technician: Where Expertise Meets Effortless Care

You will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our veterinarians during a range of clinical procedures. We are seeking an individual who believes in ensuring that every client and pet receives the highest level of attention.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will embody our commitment to excellence in residence by:
Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
Performing routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis
Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed
Monitoring and recording vital signs of animals during procedures and recovery
Providing proper animal restraint for examinations and treatments
Educating pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and training techniques
Maintaining the pristine cleanliness and organization of our facility, including sterilization of instruments using aseptic techniques
Participating in the overall management of animal husbandry within our facility
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
A deep understanding of animal physiology and handling techniques
Proven experience in veterinary practices or a related field
Familiarity with advanced animal restraint techniques, ensuring safety and the comfort of both staff and animals.
An undeniable passion for pet care and a commitment to providing an unparalleled level of service to both animals and their discerning owners.
Applicants must be willing to care for hospitalized patients over weekends and after hours (this will be an occasional job) and a willingness to be available to answer clients’ text messages after hours (up until 10 pm) for additional compensation is also required. Given this requirement, it would be ideal to live within 20 minutes of our clinic.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
