Brown Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part time or full time Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our practice is seeking a technician that has excellent communication and technical skills, while also having the ability to intertwine communications between doctors and team members to ensure a seamless client experience. They must have an understanding of veterinary medicine and strong clinical skills in order to efficiently expedite workflow, documentation and communications.
What to Expect:
Collection of patients medical history and TPR
Collection of lab samples, processing and recording of diagnostic results
Proper patient positioning, radiographic imaging
Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
Calculation and administration of medication dosages
Maintain exceptional client care through communication and education on appropriate preventative medicine, routine surgical procedures and non-routine medical conditions
Maintain quality patient care through dedication and compassion
Provide nursing care and anesthetic monitoring during surgical procedures and treatments
General upkeep of equipment in the technicians work areas
Assume all duties of Client Services Representatives and Veterinary Assistants when required or requested
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
