Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Obtain and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate clients on pet care, medications, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
- Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Certification is highly desirable.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
