Position Overview TC Veterinary Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our new surgical team in Southlake, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is passionate about providing excellent patient care and support to our surgeons and clients.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Monday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary surgeons with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures
- Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Provide compassionate patient care and support to pet owners
- Assist with client communication regarding patient status and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Greater than 3 years of veterinary experience preferred
- Prior surgical experience is a strong plus
- This is not an entry-level position — we’re looking for an experienced technician who can hit the ground running
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a surgical/clinical setting
- Certification/licensure not required, but a plus
Pay $24–$30/hour, based on experience
