We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician/assistant to join our team. The clinic has recently undergone a change of ownership but is still privately owned and operated. Our hospital’s vision is to provide excellent service to our clients and patients while creating a supportive atmosphere for the staff. The new owner is passionate about leadership and training and is looking for technicians who value this job as a career and wish to excel in their roles.
We are seeking a candidate who has the desire and ability to communicate effectively with clients and teammates, to complete required tasks and expectations independently and to provide patient care to include technical skills such as blood draw, catheter placement, nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry and dental x-ray. Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dentistry and dental x-ray is preferred. Our clinic’s medical and surgical case load is expanding, and we are looking for a technician who has the desire and ability to work with higher caseloads.
Registered Veterinary Technicians as well as on-the-job trained assistants are encouraged to apply. Pay is based on licensing and experience level.
