Expectations and duties include:
- must be experienced veterinary technician
- punctual and reliable
- good-natured, works well with others
- can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- required to collect samples from dogs, cats, and exotic patients
- deliver medications and IV fluids as directed
- obtain diagnostic radiographs
- check in and out appointments
- discuss and educate clients on various aspects of pet care
- maintain the health and cleanliness of hospitalized patients
- maintain hygienic practices in accordance with contagious disease prevention
- can deal with difficult and emotional situations with professionalism
