Veterinary Technician Jobs in Franklin, KY at The Fix Foundation
Duties:
– Assist veterinarian in providing medical care to animals
– Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
– Perform tests, such as blood work, fecals and urinalysis
– Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
– Monitor animals during recovery from surgery or illness
– Walk in vaccine clinic one day per week
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred
– Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
– Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
