Veterinary Technician for progressive small animal and exotic practice. Previous Veterinary Hospital experience required and compensation based on experience, skills, and education. Florida Certified Technician (CVT) and license a plus. CVT has additional salary options and benefits. We have moved to a new larger facility and need to expand the team to match our expanded hours and services.
Summary
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be essential in delivering high-quality care to animals while supporting veterinarians in clinical settings. This role requires core skills in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and animal physiology, ensuring the well-being of pets and assisting in procedures. Your premium skills in veterinary critical care and laboratory experience will enhance our team’s capabilities. Additionally, relevant skills such as dog training and X-Ray will contribute to effective diagnostics and treatment plans. Responsibilities
Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being during examinations and treatments.
Assist veterinarians with procedures, including animal catheterization and restraint.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using veterinary terminology.
Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.
Educate pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and training techniques.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
