We are a growing small animal practice that is looking to add a new addition to our team. Located in Lithia, Florida (33547), Fish Hawk Animal Clinic prides itself on providing exceptional care to our patients and clients. We currently are hiring for a Veterinary Technician.
This position may be part time or full time. The position hours will range between 10-28 hours for part time, and 35-40 for full time. Applicant must be a CVT or have minimum of 3 years experience as a veterinary technician to be considered for this position. If you do not have the required experience, you will not be considered for this position.
Applicants for this position must have a love of animals, attention to details, and ability to work unsupervised. Duties include but are not limited to performing fecal tests, heartworm tests, urinalysis, phlebotomy, assisting in exams and surgeries, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter set up and maintenance, basic and advanced patient care, maintaining a clean work environment, etc.
