Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services.
Duties
– Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures
– Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
– Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
– Handle and restrain animals during procedures
– Utilize X-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging
– Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
– Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments
– Provide post-operative care and follow-up instructions to pet owners
Qualifications
– Certification as a Veterinary Technician preferred
– Proficiency in animal care, including dog handling, animal catheterization, and pet care
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
– Experience with kennel operations and dog training is a plus
– Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures beneficial

Pay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour
