We are looking for a veterinary technician who possesses great communication skills, the ability to multi-task and take direction, and a willingness to learn and implement new skills.
Daily tasks include:
- Taking patient history and vitals
- Drawing up vaccinations
- Collecting samples for testing, to be run either in clinic or at outside laboratories
- Caring for hospitalized patients, including administering injections, fluids, oral medications, etc
- Assisting with anesthetic procedures
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Ordering and managing inventory
- Keeping detailed records
Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
