Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our 3-doctor team. KVH is a small, privately owned, general medicine practice in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess self-motivation, a good work ethic and strong customer service skills.
Duties
– Assist in day-to-day general practice pet appointments and surgeries including animal restraint, blood draws, digital xray and ultrasound imaging, etc.
– Assist in pet care activities including feeding, grooming, and exercising
– Assist in medical record keeping & phone message and communications.
– Maintain kennel & hospital areas ensuring cleanliness and comfort for animals
Experience
– Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role is preferred
– Proficiency in animal handling & restraint techniques
– Familiarity with daily veterinary hospital operations, procedures and terminology
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
