Progressive Animal Hospital is looking for the right person to join our team!
Located in Somers, New York, we are a privately owned small-animal hospital looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant who is dependable, self-motivated, comfortable working with clients, and enjoys being a valued member of a team. Veterinary hospital experience is required.

Skills & Responsibilities
Depending on experience and position, responsibilities may include:
- Patient restraint and handling
- Venipuncture and blood collection
- Catheter placement
- In-house laboratory procedures
- Radiology
- Surgical and dental assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Medication preparation and administration
- Patient treatments and nursing care
- Client communication and education
- Maintaining clean and organized treatment and exam areas
- Cleaning and stocking
- Assisting doctors and supporting the entire team
Being comfortable with communicating with clients is a must.
Knowledge of AVImark is a plus.
LVTs, CVTs, and experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
$22–$36/hour, depending on experience, licensure, skills, and qualifications.
Experienced LVTs and highly skilled Veterinary Assistants will be considered at the higher end of the range.
