Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals while supporting veterinarians in their daily tasks. Duties
Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Provide education to pet owners regarding proper pet care, nutrition, and training.
Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures.
Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines and assist with dental procedures.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
Requirements
Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program is preferred.
Knowledge of veterinary terminology, dental terminology, and animal physiology is essential.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
