Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services.
Duties:
– Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
– Perform animal catheterization and X-rays
– Provide animal restraint and handling during procedures
– Monitor and record vital signs of animals
– Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary equipment and facilities
– Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans
Requirements:
– Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
– Proficiency in animal physiology, husbandry, and care
– Experience with kennel operations and pet grooming
– Knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills with both pet owners and team members
