Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a strong background in veterinary medicine.
Duties
– Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries
– Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
– Administer medications and vaccines to animals
– Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging
– Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
– Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and treatment areas
Experience
– Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or relevant animal care experience
– Knowledge of animal handling techniques
– Proficiency in animal catheterization and grooming
– Ability to perform X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures
