What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in patient care by:
- Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures
- Providing surgical assistance and post‑operative nursing care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assisting with outpatient treatments and in‑house laboratory testing
- Supporting patient flow through admissions and discharges
- Collecting patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
- Using safe restraint techniques and following standard protocols
- Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas
- Communicating with clients about pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient hospital operations
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years of clinical veterinary experience required
- CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged
- Experience assisting with surgery and post‑operative care
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Commitment to creating a low‑stress, compassionate experience for patients
