Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral (ECVR) is seeking experienced Veterinary Surgical Scrub Technician Assistant (non-licensed) candidate for our busy surgery department. Surgical Scrubs are responsible for assisting the Surgery Technicians in pre-op preparations, attendance during surgical procedures and post op procedures and clean up. Efficiency and attention to detail are imperative. At ECVR surgery staff work side by side with Board Certified Surgeons and an Anesthesiologist in state-of- the-art facility using advanced equipment such as CT, endoscopy, arthroscopy.

Job Requirements:
Surgical Prep / Post Op Procedures
Aseptic Technique and awareness of surgical procedures/equipment
must be able to lift 40 lbs safely
knowledge of medical terminology
eagerness to learn new skills
