Position: Veterinary Surgeon (Part-time)
Role Overview
Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – part‑time, working exclusively at the Verwood branch. The role involves sole charge consulting and some minor procedures, with backup support from our Wimborne hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Work 10.75–12 hours per week, usually on Fridays (08:15‑18:45) and occasionally Saturday mornings (1:4 or 1:2).
- Serve as sole charge for the clinic, consulting with patients and providing care.
- Perform minor procedures as required.
- Collaborate with the RVN, client‑care team and other staff within the practice.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in small‑animal veterinary practice.
- Confidence working sole charge.
- Strong client communication skills and ability to build long‑term relationships.
- Active participation in a friendly community practice.

£20 – £25 per hour (£11,180 – £15,600 per annum, depending on hours and experience).
