We are looking for: Scheduling Coordinator (Oncology and Ophthalmology)
This role provides a high level of client service. In this role, the individual enhances communication and provides support between referring veterinarians, clients, veterinarians, and all team members of the department.
What you’ll do: 
Answer and respond to all phone calls from clients, Referral Partners and Pharmacies, log all conversations, as well as check and log voicemails 
Answer incoming calls as back up to the switchboard coordinator 
Call for referral information on new/recheck patient appointments 
Coordinate with clinical team and update departmental schedule calendar 
Check for incoming referral faxes at the front desk and/or communication center 
Organize records in hard charts for next day specialty appointments 
Check appointment emails throughout the day 
Email any electronic records/x-rays to perspective department and all x-rays to radiology 
Fax referral letters (depending on location) 
Make copies if needed: Client handouts, cage sheet change forms 
Call clients to remind of appointments & drop-offs for the next day 
Monitor supplies needed for the department, as well as clean and stock areas as needed
