What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Room Technician, you’ll play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for both patients and their families.
Your day may include:
- Obtaining patient histories and recording medical information
- Assisting veterinarians and CVT’s during examinations and treatments
- Safely restraining patients
- Collecting laboratory samples
- Administering vaccines and routine treatments
- Filling prescriptions
- Monitoring hospitalized patients
- Assisting with diagnostics and imaging
- Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
- Educating and supporting clients with compassion and professionalism

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for team members who are compassionate, dependable, positive, and eager to learn.
To be considered, you’ll need:
High school diploma or GED
Customer service experience
Experience in at least one of the following:
- Veterinary hospital
- Animal shelter or rescue
- Doggy daycare or boarding facility
- Grooming or another professional animal care environment

New to Veterinary Medicine?
Not every great Room Technician comes from another veterinary hospital.
