Veterinary Receptionist Full-Time Jobs in Richmond, VA at Huguenot Animal Hospital
Full service veterinary clinic that is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Full-Time Receptionist.
Competitive pay ($17-20/hr), with great room for advancement. Pay is based on experience and education level. Full-time benefits are available, including holiday pay, vacation pay, IRA matching, health insurance benefits, uniform allowance, and discounted services and products.
Greater than 1 year experience is required for application.
Job duties include working with the clients, scheduling appointments, answering their calls, and initiating prescription and product sales. They assist with appointments in admitting, discharging, and handling financial transactions. Receptionists maintain the lobby and reception area, and will be responsible for much of the opening and closing duties of the practice. Hours are primarily Monday-Friday, alternating Saturdays, with shared Sunday boarding duties if needed (we do very little boarding, and all employees that work a given Saturday share the Sunday duties).
Receptionists need to be well versed in veterinary services, and will be responsible for learning and implementing the medical and legal knowledge necessary to perform their duties. This position is for a highly organized individual, possessing excellent customer service skills, and is available for a flexible work schedule.
