We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist with prior experience to join our dynamic veterinary team. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software, coordinating with veterinary staff to optimize daily operations
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as answering phone calls, responding to client inquiries, and managing electronic records
- Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinary team members regarding pet care instructions and treatment plans
- Maintain a thorough understanding of veterinary terminology, surgical procedures, and medical-surgical protocols to assist with patient intake and discharge processesSkills
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a veterinary clinic setting with knowledge of veterinary administrative support functions
- Strong familiarity with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds
