Full Time Front Desk Receptionist in a veterinary hospital in Wallingford, Pa. Looking for a friendly, confident person with exceptional client services skills, strong computer knowledge and the ability to work as part of a team. The primary role of the front desk is interacting and successfully communicating with clients; excellent phone and interpersonal skills are a must. This is not an entry-level position for aspiring veterinary technicians.
Unity Animal Hospital is a growing business looking to expand our exceptional staff. We are looking for an individual who will be enthusiastic about becoming a part of and enhancing the Unity experience.
Prior experience working in a veterinary hospital is a positive but not a requirement. Must be able to work various hours including day, evening and every other Saturday shifts. Position will be for 36-40 hours/week.
Qualifications
– Veterinary experience, including animal handling and care
– Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal restraint
– Strong computer skills for client record management
Responsibilities
– Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival at the veterinary clinic.
– Utilize veterinary terminology to accurately document patient information in the computer system.
– Provide exceptional client services by answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
– Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
– Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
