Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal care, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for both clients and their pets. And we get to work with dogs and cats all day, how cool is that?!
Responsibilities include and are not exclusive to:
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive.
Schedule appointments and handle patient check-ins and check-outs.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries regarding services, appointments, and pet care advice.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
Educate pet owners on proper pet care, vaccination schedules, and preventive health measures.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.

The base hourly range for this position is $19.00 – $21.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
