Job Summary:
Dixon Veterinary Clinic is searching for an organized and empathic veterinary client service representative/receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for pet owners and their furry companions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for animals, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic’s calendar
Issuing invoices for treatment and prescribed medication after each consultation
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
Assist with billing and processing payments
Maintain patient records accurately in the practice management system
Overseeing the sale of items stocked by the practice.
Aid in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels within our designated software
Liaising with courier services and laboratories to ensure that samples are delivered and collected on time.
Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
Keep the reception area clean and organized
Experience:
The following skills are required or considered beneficial for this role:
Animal care and/or experience in a veterinary setting is required
Previous customer service experience is required
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Capacity to work well during distressing situations

No nights
