Requirements:
* A positive, compassionate and self driven individual who is customer service oriented
* Dependable, teachable, personable and a team player
* Ability to answer and manage a multi-line phone system
* Able to interact with clients by checking patients in, performing financial transactions, and answering client questions through clear communication in person, over the phone, or through email or text
* Computer literate
* Willing to be cross trained in some veterinary assistant work
* Experience with animal clinic products is a plus, but not required
* Ability to conduct oneself in a confident, calm, and professional manner with clients and staff when situations are stressful and/or focused on individual tasks
* Experience working within the veterinary field required. Skills in medical reception considered.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing:
* Answering multiline phones including: scheduling appointments and surgeries according to clinic guidelines, taking medication requests and confirming appointments.
*Update communications and standard of care of patients within medical records
* Responding to client emails and texts
* Checking clients in for appointments and running financial transactions when discharging patients
* Filing all patient authorization forms and other paperwork
* Helping with technician appointments when needed
* Daily cleaning tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
