Summary
As a Veterinary Receptionist at Acton Animal Hospital, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners seeking our services. This role is vital in ensuring a welcoming environment while facilitating smooth operations at our clinic, directly contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional veterinary care.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival at the clinic.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front area.
Handle phone, email, text and other inquiries regarding services, pricing, and pet care information.
Process payments and patient records
Coordinate with veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a veterinary or animal care setting.
Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures is essential.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in customer service with a focus on building positive relationships is preferred.
Willingness and ability to cross train to other areas of hospital as needed.
