Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist and Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people with their pets, animal care and assisting in veterinary procedures. We are a fast-paced high volume surgery and wellness center. Our small, experienced team is seeking a part-time receptionist/assistant for select days, specifically Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 7:15 am to 1 pm. The ability to work well with others and assist in all areas of the hospital is a must.
Duties
– Assist team members during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
– Answer phones, check in patients, assist clients with paperwork and billing
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility
– Monitor and record vital signs of animals
– Assist with client education on pet care and procedures
Qualifications
– Ability to handle animal restraint with care and compassion
– Experience in a veterinary hospital
– Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
