Our practice is undergoing an exciting transformation as it transitions to new ownership. We are looking to build on the legacy with a dedicated and enthusiastic team that values both professionalism and the well-being of every animal we treat.

We need a few Veterinary Receptionists (full or part time to cover working hours M-F 8-6 and Sat 9-2) to help manage day-to-day operations and provide an outstanding experience for our clients as we navigate this exciting change. Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in.

Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointment bookings, ensuring that all appointments are scheduled correctly for the veterinarians and technicians.

Phone Support: Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and provide guidance on clinic services, appointment availability, and pet care needs.

Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records, ensuring all information is properly logged and accessible.

Billing and Payment Processing: Assist clients with billing inquiries and process payments for services rendered in a timely and accurate manner.

Administrative Support: Handle general office duties such as filing, handling emails, and assisting the team with day-to-day operations.

Customer Care: Provide clients with compassionate, professional guidance as they navigate their pet care journey, especially during the reopening phase.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in veterinary care or office administration is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare setting, is preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and team members.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with office management software, scheduling tools, or practice management software is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
