Full Job Description
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced team who can provide excellent service to our clients and compassionate care for their furry loved ones.
Kachina Animal Hospital is an established high-quality, full-service AAHA accredited veterinary hospital in Dewey Arizona. We primarily treat dogs and cats but on occasion do see exotics and pocket pets. Our services include laser therapy, routine spay/neuters, preventative medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, in-house lab and pharmacy, internal medicine, digital radiology, dentistry, boarding, well pet exams and vaccines and geriatric pet care.
We are looking for a candidate with a Positive Attitude and Amazing Customer Service skills with a love for pets and their people. Must be flexible and reliable, friendly, a self starter and a multi-tasker while being able to take direction and initiative.
This position requires availability Monday – Friday from 7am – 7pm and Saturdays from 7am – 4pm. Must be flexible. 4-5 day work week, no set schedules.
Qualified candidates require a high school diploma or equivalent. Veterinary experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Cornerstone Veterinary Software is a plus.

Greeting and interacting with clients
Answering multi-phone lines
Scheduling appointments
Checking patients in and out
Processing payments
Follow up calls
Documenting client correspondences
Maintaining patient records
Various clerical duties
General cleaning
Reconciling end of day
