Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist
East Bay Animal Hospital | Largo, FL
$15–$17/hr, based on experience | Negotiable for 5+ yrs vet reception experience
Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping pets and their people? East Bay Animal Hospital is looking for a dependable, part-time veterinary receptionist to be the welcoming face of our front desk.
We’re a well-established, client-centered, doctor-owned, private practice in Largo, FL, and we take pride in providing high-quality, compassionate care in a team-focused environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and love animals, we’d love to hear from you.
Schedule:
We are specifically hiring for the following shifts:
Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Fridays: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Additional hours may be available as clinic needs arise. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work with potential flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm reminders
Check in/out patients and process payments
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Support the veterinary team and keep the front desk organized and clean
Qualifications:
Veterinary receptionist experience strongly preferred
Preference will be given to applicants with 5+ years of veterinary reception experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfortable handling pets and multitasking under pressure
Experience with Cornerstone PMS is a huge plus
