Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist with a proven background in managing busy front-desk operations in a veterinary setting. In this role, you will be the essential point of contact for our clients and their pets, ensuring that calls are answered promptly, appointments are scheduled efficiently, and client information is handled with care and precision. Your expertise will help maintain the high standard of service our clients expect.
What You’ll Do:
Reception Duties:
Serve as the welcoming face and voice for our clients by providing prompt and courteous service.
Manage all incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, handle client inquiries, and process financial transactions efficiently.
Maintain up-to-date client and patient records using veterinary management software.
Clearly communicate appointment details, doctor’s orders, and aftercare instructions to ensure clients feel supported.
Team Coordination:
Liaise with veterinarians, technicians, and other clinic personnel to ensure seamless communication and patient flow.
Assist in organizing clinic schedules and managing follow-up communications with clients.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certification is a plus.
Significant experience as a veterinary receptionist, with a strong track record in managing phone systems, appointment scheduling, and client communications in a veterinary or medical setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and familiarity with veterinary management software.
Exceptional multitasking abilities and a talent for remaining calm under pressure.
A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer care.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
No ‘on-call’ shifts.
