Full Job Description
Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! We are a privately owned Veterinary Hospital in beautiful Marin County that focuses on providing the highest quality of care and service for our patients and clients. We see cats, dogs and exotics! We are actively growing and are soon moving into a larger facility close by that is being completely renovated with all new equipment, so we need your skills and expertise!
Duties:
– Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
– Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
– Check-in and check-out clients and their pets
– Collect and update client information in the system
– Assist with filing and organizing medical records
– Process payments and handle financial transactions
– Provide general administrative support to the veterinary team
Skills:
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Basic computer knowledge, windows, email etc
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients while supporting our veterinary team. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
