Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist for our Town Center, VA Hospital!
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

At Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are crucial to our hospital’s success. You will be the first Blue Pearl Associate clients see, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they need. You must be able to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.
As a Veterinary Receptionist:
You will greet every individual warmly and professionally as they enter the hospital.
You will always offer a friendly smile, maintain strong eye contact, and be approachable.
You will listen compassionately.
You will communicate clearly, slowly, and calmly, in person and over the phone.
You will assess clients and pets upon arrival, noting any urgent needs or general condition.
You will determine whether an emergency is ‘stat’ or ‘standard.’
You will respond to non-patient calls or visitors, directing them appropriately.
You will confirm appointments in advance and provide accurate preparation instructions.
You will offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
You will serve as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a respectful and complete process.
